Empangan Air Kuning Baitcasting Clinic

A Baitcasting & Soft bait Clinics was held at The Fly Fishing And Lure Casting Center at Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam, organized by members of Malaysia Fishing Net and sponsored by Pure fishing Malaysia and The Fly Fishing And Lure Casting Center, Empangan Air Kuning on the 28 th June 2008 and 6 th September 2008. The Fly Fishing And Lure Casting Center sponsored an hour of fishing as well.

Participants took the opportunity to try out the Abu Garcia Black Max baitcasting reels and the Berkley soft plastic baits aiming to land the many tomans, sebaraus, or pacus that are denizens of the pond.

Tan one of the younger participants landed two pacus on Berkley Powerbait within 15 minutes of fishing while another participant lost a softbait to a toman that managed to break the line.

This was a special event because participants of this clinic had the opportunity to try out the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Revo Skeet Reese, a signature series reel designed by Pro Angler and Sportsman of The Year, Skeet Reese; that will only be available to Malaysian anglers in 2009.

The lucky participants also got to take home with them many goodies from Pure Fishing Malaysia that will enhance their fishing experience.
